Dr. Jackson attended Granite High School in Salt Lake City, then graduated from La Canada High School in the Los Angeles area in 1975. He received his BS degree in zoology from Brigham Young University and attained his dental and orthodontic degree, graduating in the top 2% of his class, from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

Dr. Jackson is married to Katheann Smith of Midvale, Utah. They have six children, two boys and four girls. They currently reside in Sandy, Utah. Dr. Jackson’s interests and hobbies include spending time with his family, snow skiing, golfing and fishing.

Dr. Jackson is actively involved in his church, having served in various youth leadership capacities including scoutmaster and soccer coach over the past 10 years. Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He served as the president of the Utah Association of Orthodontists during the 1994-95 year.

Dr. Jackson’s treatment expertise extends from treatment in the early mixed dentition of young children to adult orthodontics, orthognathic surgery and temporomandibular joint disorders.
